October is Regional and Suburban Young Lawyers (RSYL) Month and the Geelong contingent is celebrating with a good old fashioned wine tour! Come along and enjoy some of the best wines our beautiful region has to offer.  We will be having lunch at the picturesque and renowned Oakdene Vineyards before heading to two other surprise destinations for further wine tastings. The GLA has kindly agreed to supply us with a shuttle bus for the day so you can leave the car at home. The Geelong Law Association is holding a Yoga and Meditation session to promote wellbeing in the profession. More and more organisations are recognising that supporting the whole person is the key to an engaged and resilient workforce or group. Yoga and mindfulness can improve: concentration, confidence and focus emotional and physical wellness mental resilience and stress management ability to manage work relationships. They can be particularly helpful for people working in emergency response, or other stressful situations.
