The Geelong Law Association warmly invites you to an evening of entertainment, connection, and brain-teasing fun at our highly anticipated annual Trivia Night! 📅Date: Friday 19 June 2026 ⏰Time: 6:00PM to 10:00PM  📍Venue: The Inn Hotel, 58 Corio Street, Geelong Enjoy a lively night out, relax, network with colleagues, and put your knowledge to the test with an array of engaging trivia questions. This event is open to everyone, so whether you’re a member or not, feel free to bring along friends and colleagues for an unforgettable experience. Trivia Night is the perfect opportunity to catch up with fellow members of our legal community in a relaxed, social atmosphere. 🎟️Tickets:  $50 for members $60 for non-members Your ticket includes a delicious selection of shared food and a limited bar tab, plus all the excitement of a professionally hosted trivia competition. The GLA is excited to invite you to the fourth annual GLA Charity Golf Day! This year the proceeds will be going to support Hope Bereavement Care, a fantastic local  not-for-profit organisation offering free information, support and counselling to residents of the general Geelong region grieving the death of a family member or losing somebody to suicide:  https://www.bereavement.org.au/ The GLA Charity Golf Day will once again be held at the fantastic East Geelong Golf Course. Event details as follows: Date: Friday, 1 May 2026 Arrival and tee off: Players must arrive for registration at 1pm, with a shotgun start at 1.30pm Tickets (p/person): $50, with ticket sales closing COB 23 April 2026 Ticket prices include grazing boards and a limited bar tab.  This event is open to members and non-members. We welcome all to this charity event. The day's golf will be played over 9 holes, in 4 person ambrose teams. Whilst full teams are welcome, if you would like to participate and do not have a full team, players are encouraged to purchase a ticket and will then be placed in teams for the competition. The GLA Charity Golf Day is an inclusive event and golfers of all abilities (or none!) are welcome. Handicaps are not in play for this event. In addition to the major prize of best performing team, there will be prizes for best performing mixed team, longest drive competition (with both men and women competitions), and nearest the pin competition. You are invited to attend the Geelong Opening of the Legal Year on 4 February 2026. This event will again be hosted by Her Honour Justice Michelle Quigley of the Supreme Court of Victoria, along with the Geelong Law Association and Deakin University. Members of the Judiciary and Victorian Bar are requested to be robed as usual. A greenroom will be provided.
