Annual General Meeting 2022

Dear Members

The current Committee of the Geelong Law Association (“GLA”) is pleased to provide you with Notice of the GLA’s Annual General Meeting 2022 (“AGM”).

This year’s AGM will be held at ALMA Restaurant (located at 93-95 Ryrie Street, Geelong VIC 3220) at 12:30pm on Thursday, 31 March 2022.

Please RSVP by 24 March 2022 by obtaining a free ticket to the event. Members will receive a free two course lunch meal. Drinks are available at bar prices. Please ensure you provide any relevant dietary requirements when booking your free ticket.

If any GLA members have any feedback or wish to raise any business ahead of the meeting for inclusion in the proposed agenda, please also feel free to get in touch with the Committee by replying to this invitation. 

Members are entitled to appoint a proxy to vote and speak on their behalf at a general meeting. If you wish to appoint a proxy, please provide details of the nomination in writing to the Committee.

Committee Nominations

Members also have the opportunity to nominate for a position on the 2022-2023 committee – we welcome all nominations including in particular from firms which are not already represented on the committee.
