Geelong Personal Injury law practitioners catch up

Thu, 3 Sep 2020
11:00 - 12:00

The Geelong Law Association invites members who practice in Personal Injury Law to a scheduled Zoom meeting to discuss challenges in the context of COVID-19. Given that most Personal Injury lawyers are working from home without face to face contact with clients and other practitioners, the Zoom meeting will allow them to interact about current issues within the relevant jurisdiction. The Zoom meeting is a free event and is designed for Personal Injury lawyers to remain in contact during this period.

The session will go for approximately 40 minutes and will be hosted by Jaz Goddard, Associate at Maurice Blackburn.  An invitation to the Zoom meeting will be sent to members who RSVP ahead of the session.

All aspects of Personal Injury Law are up for discussion such as preparing for and running conferences, mediations and hearings, and any new legislation and practice notes that have passed or been introduced this year and in light of COVID-19.

The GLA is also planning to hold further events for other practice areas.  If you are not a Personal Injury lawyer but would be interested in a session for members of your practice area, please don't hesitate to get in touch with the Committee to make a suggestion.

We look forward to seeing you at the Zoom meeting.
