The Geelong Law Association invites members who practice in Wills and Estates to a scheduled Zoom meeting to discuss practice problems in the context of the change of social circumstances triggered by COVID-19. Given that most wills and estates lawyers are working from home without face to face contact with clients and other practitioners, the Zoom meeting will allow wills and estates lawyers to interact about current issues within the wills and estates jurisdiction. The Zoom meeting is a free event and is designed for wills and estates lawyers to remain in contact during this period.
The session will go for approximately 40 minutes and will be hosted by Aaron Jolly, President of the Geelong Law Association and Principal and Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estates at Whyte Just and Moore lawyers. An invitation to the Zoom meeting will be sent to members who RSVP ahead of the session.
All aspects of Wills and Estates are up for discussion such as Wills, administrating estates, signing issues with Wills and power of attorneys and any new legisliation that has passed this year and in light of covid-19.
The GLA is also planning to hold further events for other practice areas. If you are not a Wills and Estates Lawyer but would be interested in a session for members of your practice area, please don't hesitate to get in touch with the Committee to make a suggestion.
We look forward to seeing you at the Zoom meeting.
