The Geelong Law Association invites members who practice in Property Law to a scheduled Zoom meeting to discuss practice problems in the context of the change of social circumstances triggered by COVID-19. Given that most property lawyers are working from home without face to face contact with clients and other practitioners, the Zoom meeting will allow property lawyers to interact about current issues within the property jurisdiction. The Zoom meeting is a free event and is designed for property lawyers to remain in contact during this period.
The session will go for approximately 40 minutes and will be hosted by Lydia Eastwood, committee member of the Geelong Law Association and Senior Associate and Accredited Specialist in Property Law at Redman Lynch Washington. An invitation to the Zoom meeting will be sent to members who RSVP ahead of the session.
All aspects of property law are up for discussion such as contracts of sale, signing issues, leases and any new legislation that has passed this year and in light of covid-19.
The GLA is also planning to hold further events for other practice areas. If you are not a Property Lawyer but would be interested in a session for members of your practice area, please don't hesitate to get in touch with the Committee to make a suggestion.
We look forward to seeing you at the Zoom meeting.
