Attached is your invitation to attend our final CPD session for the year, our November CPD by Pat Karnis on Mediation – reaching mutual agreement from points of conflict.

Pat has a very broad knowledge in this area having come to the Bar in 2010 and prior to this Pat worked as a solicitor in a boutique family law firm. As a lawyer, Pat’s practice covered all aspects of family law. As part of her practice Pat has participated in mediation and conciliation and has established a reputation for assisting clients to reach agreement in highly conflictual circumstances and for sound strategic advice.

Pat has experience in family law advocacy having appeared in property & children’s matters, recovery proceedings, relocation proceedings, divorce proceedings, appeals and is a nationally accredited mediator. She has had an ongoing association with Deakin University for a number of years and currently consults there as a law tutor and lecturer.

She has been a regular volunteer at the Barwon Community Legal Centre. Pat appears on Radio 93.9 Bay FM from time to time to discuss family law.

 

The seminar will be delivered at the Geelong Library and Heritage Centre located at Level 5 (South), 51 Malop Street, Geelong. 

 

The cost for CPD sessions for members will be $20.00 which includes lunch.
