The Geelong Law Association (GLA) is an incorporated association for legal practitioners, law students and others associated with the law who live and/or work in the Geelong region.
Geelong Law Association Member
To become a GLA Member you must:
(a) be an Australian lawyer living or working within the Geelong region; and
(b) be a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
Young lawyers
Members under the age of 35 or who have been in practise for less than five years may choose to have their name added to the Young Lawyers' database. If you wish to be added to the young lawyers data base please advise us in the additional info.
The GLA supports around 300 members through social and networking events as well as the provision of professional development seminars.
The GLA has a particularly close relationship with the Deakin University Law School and hosts regular events for young lawyers and law students as well as providing scholarships and prizes for Deakin students.
